We start today by clearing the snow off the car from the snowfall overnight.

Its a glorious sunny winters morning today as we continue our journey south towards home.

Despite moving further south with every passing kilometer, it is still very much an arctic landscape all around us.

We stop at the small shop here – but it is not open.

We instead stop off at the Circle K at Namsskogan.

It was at these chargers we first used Mer back in 2022 with our Taycan 4S, when this area felt very remote to us.

Of course, it is now a very well positioned IONITY station and I don't think the basic 50 kW Mer chargers see much use anymore.

We pull in where we can to take some pictures. Thankfully, the road has plenty of safe rest area's that keeps us away from the many passing trucks.

As we push further south, the road conditions do improve and it the drive becomes easier.

There is plenty of winter grim on our car at this stage of the trip. They guys at Flawless in Dublin will have their work cut out for them when we get back!

Most of the car washes are automatic – which we'd never dream of using. But we notice a "self wash" in one of the garages we pass and decide to grab the opportunity to at least hose down the worst of the grime from the paint surface.

The machine "eats" our tokens so we have to work quickly. That's a little better ...

We drive on for another hour until we arrive at our overnight hotel in Trondheim. After the remoteness of the arctic it always feels like we've arrived back in civilization when we reach here!

Its "valet"-ish parking here – you drive into the garage yourself but its very tight and they squeeze in the cars so the staff do the actual parking once you've removed your luggage.

There is not much point cleaning the car, is there?
