Scheduled Service: January 2026

Our 911 Targa had its first scheduled service today just a little before it hit its 30,000 km on the odometer. While it hit the service needs on distance, it would have been in next month anyways on time, it being two years old.

We wanted to get the service cleared before we headed away on its first trip to the arctic, where it would be experiencing extreme low temperatures hovering around -25C.

I was pleased at the low wear of the brake pads, especially considering that this car completely relies on mechanical friction brakes unlike our previous Taycan's and Panamera, which had regeneration available.

If this pattern continues, we'll be replacing the pads on age rather than wear.
