Day 6: Christmas markets in Baden-Baden
Today was a lazy day up to Baden-Baden for a late lunch.

And a visit to the Christmas market, that is still open here.

With lots of trinkets on sale alongside the food stalls.

The entire market is ring-fenced with discrete security barriers: large concrete blocks wrapped in festive looking red covers.

And had a walk along the river that runs through the town. We really have been very lucky with the weather on this trip.

After eating too much at lunch, we head back to Freiburg along the A5 autobahn. Parking back at the now familiar underground car park.

And taking the elevator up to our room.
