About Targa Trips

We are Damien and Rose and live in Dublin, Ireland.

Targa Trips is our personal record of the road trip adventures we take across Europe in our Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS.

What started as a curiosity for long-distance travel became a full-fledged passion — one shaped by thousands of kilometres, mountain passes, tiny alpine villages, and the kind of journeys that only unfold when you keep driving “just a little further.”

Before the Targa, many people knew us online as “tigerbalm” on the Taycan Forum, where we documented our long-range EV road trips across Western Europe and all the way to the Norwegian Arctic.

Those early electric adventures taught us how to plan routes, find the best roads, and appreciate the magic of slow, deliberate travel.

And with a generous community following along—and often pushing us to go a little farther and photograph a little more—this site continues that spirit. We just wanted a home for all those stories.
